Shared Governance
Get started with consent-based decision-making and governance design.
Why is this important?
Shared governance allows every member of a group to actively participate in decision-making in an equitable way, based on principles such as consent.
It aims to strengthen team cohesion by encouraging collaboration and personal engagement.
An experiential and inclusive training
During this training, you will learn how to make collective decisions using consent, where objections are taken into account to improve proposed solutions.
You will explore how to identify and balance power dynamics within a group, while fostering open and non-violent communication.
Through role plays and case studies, you will put these principles into practice to build a more just and effective working environment.
By the end, you will be able to:
- Make collective decisions using consent, where every voice contributes to improvement
- Facilitate discussions and lead groups while ensuring everyone’s inclusion
- Manage power dynamics to ensure fair participation
- Create a working environment that promotes engagement, cooperation, and respect for shared goals
